Next pickup will be WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 13th AT 10:30 AM. ** You must have everything completed and the dog ‘tagged’ by TUESDAY 5pm NOV 12th** BUT NEED TAGS ASAP!! Certified 501c3’s: you will need to email your 501c3 certificate along with cause number of the dog, who will be picking up your dog and their contact number. Transportation must be arranged before a dog will be tagged. Pledges are donations for 501c3 normally, unless the party specifies otherwise. We are not responsible for tracking pledges. This is an all-volunteer page to bring awareness to these animals. We are not employees of Smith County or the Holding Facility! Please remember that Smith County is a holding facility and NOT a shelter. Make arrangements to arrive promptly at designated pickup times and bring appropriate crates. Please mark ‘gift’ or ‘friends and family’ to limit the amount of fees. At this time we cannot accept donations for specific dogs or to forward to other rescues for a specific dog. Donations will be used as we see best for example but not limited to; pledging on low dogs, vetting costs, boarding, crates, and gas reimbursement as need for transporters.
