ELLIPSE RECEIVES ANOTHER US PATENT Our SoftCool® technology for skin cooling during a treatment, is now patented in the US. The SoftCool® system sends a continuous jet of cool air across the treatment area, removing a large amount of excessive surface heat. The temperature of the cold air is around 10°C. This ensures that the targeted blood vessels don’t contract during the treatment, (which would make the treatment less efficient). Furthermore the SoftCool® air temperature eliminates the risk of causing chill damage to targeted skin.
