ELUSIVE HAPPINESS The problem with happiness and joy is that it eludes many of us. We spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to become happy. We often think money will bring us happiness, only to discover that some of the unhappiest people in the world have all the money they could ever possibly want. There is little correlation between happiness and wealth. Some people seek happiness through social relationships, believing the answer to their problems lies in the hands of other people. And yet, relationships often suffer. A close look at married people reveals that often couples are bored to tears. Their married life is dull, drab, and gray. Why?
