ELVIS WEEK UPDATE: Hello to all and HAPPY ELVIS WEEK! We had a FANTASTIC and VERY SUCCESSFUL show last night ~ big thanks go out to Fever and Steve for their help as well as the crew of dear friends that are always there to help us! We had 1000+ with us at our 1st show in Russellville last night and it was amazing! Big thank yous to all who joined us despite the construction on the highways and the rain! It took us an extra hour to get to Russellville from Little Rock. Donnys GOOD MORNING ARKANSAS appearance went REALLY WELL. Lots of fun, that was! For those who have asked, I WILL be posting more photos and videos as well but PLEASE give a girl a minute...haha...seriously, been super swamped and will have to update as I can in between all the goings on. Its a little more difficult during this time of year with so much happening. I will be taking TONS of photos over this next week though and I will post as I can, promise. We announced last night that we would be returning to Arkansas in 2015 on August 8th and Donny was invited to do the TV appearance again when he does! After a wonderful show experience last night, we got a little rest and are now caravaning with 4 of Donnys fan club crew and a cousin (=) ) to Memphis to meet up with others in our dear Elvis family so we can enjoy a week of celebrating our favorite persons life! Before we headed out of Little Rock, we stopped by the Barton Coliseum which is where Elvis performed APRIL 17TH, 1972. There are video clips of him, backstage in the red jumpsuit online if you care to look. We love to visit historic Elvis sites and are sure to do so at all of the stops we go to. Now, we are working our way through more construction and traffic to head to the beautiful bridge, taking us across into Memphis. We always pick a favorite Elvis song to listen to when going over to the bridge to make it extra memorable. Tonight will be a rest up sort of night and then tomorrow...we get into it. The crew we are with either have not been to Memphis much or not at all. We have alot of Elvis sightseeing to do. Will be back later this evening when Donny and I settle in and we have a minute to breathe. Meanwhile enjoy these photos please...Hugs to you, almost from the holy land!
