EMAIL FROM MEMBER RE: CLAIMS OF STEP CHILD BEING UNHAPPY I have two fantastic step daughters, one 9 and one 20, who I absolutely cherish, I have been with their dad for almost 6 years now, they have different mothers, live separately from each other, through the whole 6 years my relationship had been put through the mill of their mothers causing unnecessary arguments, the youngest i took under my wing, at one point we were inseparable, everywhere I went she was by my side. Me and my partner had a little boy, but nothing changed and she accepted it well. We also lost twins. Then we had another boy and her mum also had another baby boy, and then things started to change dramatically. She came to our house as normal, I played with her as normal engaged all my time with her in between feeds etc, she spent more time with me than her actual dad, she SEEMED to be very happy, we started getting texts off her mum saying she was going home crying and saying I was ignoring her and I was being nasty to her that she wasnt getting enough attention off her dad in a one-one basis, so me and my partner compromised and said in future her dad takes her out and spends quality time with her and doesnt bring her here, this has worked, I miss not seeing her, but the way I see it now is I cant get blamed for loving a child, but now we getting texts saying we will never be forgiven for keeping her away from my boys!! Her mum is pregnant again and I just cant seem to win !!! I dont believe what is being said is coming from the child, not sure if its just jealousy as my partner wanted children with me and not with her x Any advise (no nasty comments) would be appreciated,
