EMAIL FROM MEMBER RE: DEALING WITH SOCIAL SERVICES: Im not really sure if or what advice you may be able to offer. My 8 month old daughter (only child) has just been placed under a special guardianship order with my mum and step dad. Social services havent offered us any help or support in keeping our family together. I am hurting so much, its destroying me. Is there anything you can suggest to help with separation anxiety? I love my little princess to pieces and I miss her so so much. All I want is to get her home. But because social have taken my baby from me, my relationship with them hasnt been fantastic. How am I ment to show them I am hurting without coming across as angry and volatile when actually Im just very upset and defensive? Any help or suggestions would be very gratefully received. Thank you and sorry for the rant. P.S They originally removed her due to a small bruise she got on her cheek when her dad was playing with her. Now they wont give her back because apparently Im angry and volatile, when actually Im scared and defensive and upset :( I honestly dont know what they expect when they have taken my baby from me :(
