EMAIL FROM MEMBER RE: SCHOOL INJURIES: Hi. Am seriously concerned about my little bit at school. Today when I collected him his teacher casually told me that he had quite a big bump on his head. He came out of his class & was shocked how large and sore the injury was. I was too shocked and upset about it to challenge what the teacher had said. There was no mention of any medical attention I.e. nurse or Dr checking him out, I wasnt even contacted to tell me it had happened! This is the 2nd instance of me turning up to collect at usual time to find him with injuries. In the first week of school he got a nasty cut on his face. Again, I was not informed of the incident, just advised in a nonchalant manner on collecting him. What is the deal here? Has anyone had similar issues. I want to know these things, especially a rather large head injury.
