EMERGENCY RESOLUTION - COMMUNICATIONS IN SCOTLAND PASSED AT REGIONAL COMMITTEE MEETING The resolution below was passed at yesterdays regional committee meeting. Members are encouraged to attend their branch/sectional meetings for a full report. COMMUNICATIONS IN SCOTLAND This committee is extremely concerned that the restrictions placed on communications by Head Office are creating an information vacuum around the Pensions dispute from a Scottish perspective. Additionally, the lack of consultation and involvement with the Scottish Regional Committee in the dispute, from Head Office, is having a detrimental effect. We demand that the Region 1 Executive have the ability, notwithstanding legal checks, to issue timely information and campaign materials for the Scottish membership, as they see fit with immediate effect.
