EMERGING ~ I was recently called back to work on an original painting of the energy I recognise as Archaeana Mary Magdalena which I have had for some time. It was a pale, pinkish gold with soft blue and pearlescent white, the image of the Magdalena was very subtle, almost coy and a little reticent. Having now applied the colours which I used in the most recent creation, it allows the figure to emerge with confident and grace. this is not a pretty portrait, but depicts a woman who is very claiming her place in the world, refusing to be hidden. There is something quite vulnerable about her naked openness. Somehow, this particular painting fills me with hope that all of us can emerge and reveal ourselves in our Truth. x
