Profile Required for Revenue Assurance Engineer • University Level in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Telecom or relevant Discipline • Proficient with Computer Microsoft, Windows office applications • Exposure to scripting and programming languages • High analytical and problem solving skills • Excellent knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL Scripting • RDBMS, Oracle 2. Profile of Field Marketing Team Leader (1) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication Sciences and related Field. • 2 years of experience in a customer service oriented role • Have an understanding of basic brand marketing tactics • Must be computer and internet literate • Must know how to operate MS Office, smart phones/tablets, mobile applications, social media platforms, and other emerging technologies with ease • Must be able to stand for long periods of time outside 3. Profile of Mobile Financial Services Accountant (1) • A university degree in Accounting or any Business related area. • Professional qualification: CPA /ACA / ACCA (mandatory with second to third level acceptable) • Good knowledge of all accounting functional areas Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years) • Able to operate in a performance driven organization3 years’ experience and knowledge of working with commissions’ statements, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and/or receivables, and general ledger accounting. • Excellent software skills, especially in MS Excel, Access, ACL and Word • Basic knowledge and use of technical principles, theories and concepts in products and accounting. • Banking experience in settlements/reconciliation (mandatory) 4. Business Analyst (1) To collect and analyze internal and external data regarding the performance and impact of “Smart Burundi”, Burundi business strategies and initiatives, to assess financial impact of new proposals, generate business insights and continuously analyze the market dynamics including competitor activities to support the CEO’s decisions making. Educational Qualifications • Minimum qualification is a Masters in Business Administration, degree in Statistics or Economics or Finance and Accounting or Engineering Computer Science, or any related field from an accredited institution. Relevant Experience (Type of experience and minimum number of years) • Minimum of 3 years experience in related work • A solid knowledge of the industry, telecommunications technology, telecommunications products and industry trends • Multi-cultural and teamwork orientation • Knowledge of English and/or French 5. IT Supervisor (1) SUMMARY • Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions for ““Smart Burundi”,” Company. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer • Requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure, applications, and • Development of new technical solutions. This position is a working manager’s position. MANAGEMENT SKILLS sound judgment; initiative; flexibility; detail-oriented EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE • University degree in computer science, computer engineering, telecom , Business Administration, Public Administration, Mathematics or relevant discipline • Proficient with computers, Microsoft Windows, office applications • Excellent knowledge and experience with CISCO networking equipment including switch ES , routers, Firewalls, etc. • Experience with windows servers and Microsoft Exchange • Preferably working knowledge of Linux/Unix • Exposure to scripting and programming languages • Efficient SQL, PL/SQL scripting • RDBMS, Oracle • Strong analytical skills • Experience from a Telecom Company Constitutes an advantage • Exposure to LINUX/UNIX OS • Experience from Telecom Company is required • Broad knowledge of information technology processing systems, • Attain CCNA, CCNP, CCNE and a VOIP/SIP certification 6. Legal and Regulatory Compliance Manager (1) Responsibilities: • Legal and Regulatory Compliance Manager will have joint responsibility for reviewing new laws and regulations applicable to ““Smart Burundi”,” s operations, then summarizing those laws in a format readily understandable by non-legal associates. • Working with subject matter specialists in the Legal Department, business line leaders and compliance specialists, he/she will help ensure ““Smart Burundi”,” ‘s compliance with applicable laws by both drafting new legal requirements and managing the process by which those requirements are integrated in the regulatory compliance process. • Provide reporting/management assistance to attorneys and business partners • Provide legal representation of the Company in Courts and Tribunals in Burundi; and Basic Qualifications: • University Degree in Law or more with state bar admission and strong and long work experience. • An advanced Degree will be an added advantage. • To 10 years of experience practicing law, in-house legal department or law firm focuses on telecommunications commercial and regulatory or general commercial. • Ability and willingness to work as a team player, with comfort interacting with associates across departments and job levels. • Ability to work under pressure and delivering on time. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with the East African laws and rule-making process. • Strong prioritization skills. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (strongly bilingual candidate: French and English are an absolute requirement).Proficiency in Kirundi is highly appreciated. 7. Team Leader Brand and Communication (1) Educational Qualifications. • Master’s degree in communications, journalism, public relation or any other related area, with demonstrated ability to manage external and internal multimedia Communications in a large, complex extractive industries related project. Experience: • At least 2 years relevant experience, 3 of which should be at supervisory level. Training: • Mass Media operation • Print Media operation& Editing • Video and audio media operation Knowledge: • Excellent written, editorial and interpersonal communication • Knowledge and connected to large network of media contacts • Experience in developing and implanting social marketing strategies and policies. • Experience with large scale media buying and placement 8. Marketing Manager Mission: Energetic and intuitive marketing strategist with exceptional leadership and communication skills. Proven ability to identify opportunities and deliver. Effective strategies to generate results. Experienced in strategic marketing planning, branding, and product development.
