EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN, GENESYS, GRAND BLANC. Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Part-time Shift: Second Hours per pay period: 48 Job Summary: Under the direction of a registered pharmacist, fills medication orders (including making IV admixtures), maintains records, and performs related duties. Follows departmental and Medical Center policies. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Michigan Pharmacy Certified Technician status preferred. Hospital pharmacy experience preferred. Associate degree in Pharmacy Technology or Certificate of Achievement from an approved Pharmacy Technician training program (or equivalent) or Pharmacy Technician/Assistant experience (100 hours). Knowledge of drug names. Ability to preform repetitive tasks accurately. Basic math skills. Light typing and computer use skills. Good reading, writing and oral communication skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions with accuracy, speed and dependability. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees. Ability to respect confidentiality of patient. Professional demeanor.
