EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY The Corporation of the Township of Madawaska Valley is currently accepting applications for the full time, permanent position of; Recreation and Community Development Coordinator Under the direction of and reporting to the CAO/Clerk the successful candidate will research, initiate, promote, administer, monitor and evaluate the delivery and oversight of the Township’s recreational, fundraising and community development programs and services. In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for the control and supervision of the Township’s recreational properties, buildings and structures such as; an indoor arena, outdoor rinks, community centers, baseball diamonds, parks, beaches and trails. This position requires a confident, self-motivated individual with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills who has a proven track record working with and promoting partnership with volunteer interest groups. This individual must be prepared to make every effort to maintain or exceed the Township’s present standards of delivering recreational and community development services. This position currently has a rate of pay range of $48,360-$50,662 however both the Job description and rate of pay are currently under review.
