** EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY ** ULURU OPERATIONS MANAGER WITH OUTBACK CYCLING BACKGROUND: Outback Cycling is a small family business, we seek friendly and enthusiastic people to take on our Uluru Operations Manager position. This position requires enthusiasm, autonomy and good problem solving skills. The position is casual; on a 7 day roster. Hours of work 7am- 3pm. This position may require that you work on a rotating roster of up to 2 weeks consecutively with a minimum of 4 days off thereafter. Key responsibilities include: • Act as the public face of Outback Cycling at Uluru and Yulara • Logistics of all equipment at Uluru • Regular bike maintenance and mechanics • Build and maintain positive relationships with other tourism businesses and key stakeholders at Yulara and Uluru • Customer service in your key role hiring bikes and providing information to visitors and customers to our mobile bike trailer stationed outside the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre. • Manage phone enquiries and bookings, customer data recording, money handling and use of EFTPOS equipment • Play an active role in utilising social media to promote Outback Cycling’s products • You will report regularly to the Tourism Manager and/or the owners of the business ESSENTIAL: • Northern Territory Driver’s license • Recent Police check • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain) • Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park Tour Guide Accreditation certificate (or willingness to obtain) DESIRABLE • LR driver’s license • Class H endorsement on driver’s license Phone us today on 8952 3993 for further information.
