EMPOWERING GRACE A grace that does not empower us to strive for - TopicsExpress

EMPOWERING GRACE A grace that does not empower us to strive for spiritual maturity, hence laying aside every sin and weight that so easily besets us, is not the grace of the scriptures I have read. The Apostles gave an account of the teachings of Christ and then proceeded to preach from the Old Testament Scriptures New Testament Theology. I am so glad for the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament which make up the whole counsel of God’s Word! It is awesome to know the wisdom of the Proverbs, the exhortations and prophetic value of the Psalms, the Historical information of the Torah, the Judges, Kings, Chronicles, and the History and Significance of the Major & Minor Prophets. There are so many wonderful principles within the confines and contexts of the Holy Scriptures. What an Awesome God who has given us the insight of his very Being through the person of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Who came to Save, Heal, and Deliver. What a Wonderful God who moved upon men to speak His very thoughts an scribe them to parchment. Today we are blessed because of the living sacrifices of those first Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers whom compassed the known world at that time teaching, preaching, and baptizing those who had been serving pagan gods. We still have the same commission today, Scripture was canonized first and foremost by the Holy Spirit and then conveyed to a lost and dying world through those foundational ministers. I am just amazed by the conclusiveness of Holy Writ and how the Holy Spirit teaches me, how He opens the eyes of my heart and increases my understanding. He is enough, my God is enough, if I never have anything but Him, He is more than enough! Thank You Lord for a Grace that Empowers, that Saves, that Heals, that Delivers, and sets the Captive Free. Selah! Shalom, Agape, & Amen! Apostle Ritchie……
