Friends of my home town is dedicated to improving the lives of woman with low income and disadvantaged young girls through the support of the Amigos de mi Pueblo, Spanish for "friends of my home town") network of friend of my home town in El Ranchito, Michoacan Mexico. What We Aspire to: • Creating Woman for life through values of unconditional love, shared responsibility and education. • Enabling girls to grow into caring and productive members of their communities – to multiply the change that you, as supporters, are helping to make. • Enhancing our supporter’s lives by helping them make a difference in the lives of our woman. • We help each person address the challenges of living with Cancer through our home town network of friends. The Society helps people affected by cancer by funding cutting-edge research, driving change through advocacy, facilitating professional education, and providing programs and services that help people with cancer and their families move their lives forward. • What Makes Us Unique • Our girls and woman receive direct physical, emotional and spiritual support on a long-term basis. • they are given the security and the sense of belonging as they are being welcomed into a new life. • Our children are given a quality education and have the opportunity to pursue a trade or university degree. • Our graduates give back a year or more of service to their community, to share the responsibility as a professional. Our Organization Friends of my home town supports women with cancer and young studen through fundraising and volunteer efforts. The organization is governed by a volunteer board of directors . . The members of our boards have diverse professional backgrounds and expertise, but each actively works to raise funds for and awareness of Friends of my home town and our mission. Accountability Friends of my home town is a registered _______ nonprofit corporation, Federal Tax ID# _________. Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. All donated funds are diligently appropriated and an audited financial statement is available upon request.
