ENCOUNTER PEOPLE - This and my previous post are with thanks to my friend Marty Boller in the USA. Thanks Marty, youre a gem. Did you know that the New Testament writers give us at least 59 different scriptures where you and I, as followers of Christ, are called to the concepts of ‘community (koinonia)? Actually the New Testament Greek root word is allelon, and it is translated as ‘one another’ or ‘each other’. I know this takes up a lot of space , but as I see it, this might be fruitful here to simply close today by giving you these 59 scriptures, all written to encourage you and me to keep the fires of ‘kinship’ alive in our churches today. Take a deep breath.
