ENDING TOMORROW SATURDAY NIGHT 11/29: A card most experienced modern rookie card collectors thought would probably never exist, Small Traditions LLC is pleased to kick-off our November Holiday Auction at smalltraditions/Catalog.aspx with this incredible PSA 10 Pop 1 PSA Set Registry powerhouse rookie card of The Kid, Ken Griffey Jr. This is the first and only example ever graded PSA 10 Gem Mint from 376 on record and not more than a few times that number produced, almost all of which are severely off-centered and covered in both print and other surface defects. The offered masterpiece of the minor leagues is also the highlight this month from what is perhaps the single most extensive offering of rare, high-grade and low-pop PSA-graded minor league rookie cards ever auctioned. In fact, we think its safe to say that not even eBay, what with its endless pages of over-priced BIN listings, has as many Pop 1 minor league star rookie cards as were offering in no-reserve format this month, all starting at just a buck. With so many opportunities to pick up challenging Pop 1 and low pop PSA 10 rookie cards and low-pop PSA 9 duplicates of major stars and Hall of Famers, so many of whom appear for their first times on cardboard, and with so many of these cards hailing from ultra limited sets printed in runs of as small as just 1,000 to 2,000, we encourage you to Dive Deep and to investigate all 1,000+ lots this month, where youre bound to discover cardboard treasures you never even knew existed. Beware of counterfeits! Unknown to most collectors, counterfeits of the 1988 Cal League All Stars Ken Griffey Jr. rookie card are easily identified by thinner red fonts, almost double-printed in green, unmistakable when compared to the real thing. Well try to post an example before the end of the auction. Finally, with such a huge auction this month, please take advantage of the multiple ways to search and navigate all 1,000+ lots. Not only is there a very detailed and extensive category menu that can be expanded along the left side of any catalog view page, but each individual lot view also contains many links to others like it -- other Mickey Mantle cards, or other rookie cards, for example -- right above the lot title and just to the left. These are all hyperlinks, criss-crossing and connecting the auction for your convenience. Thanks for reading, and happy bidding! Dave Thorn & The STs Team
