ENGLISH: On March 16th, 70 musicians met in Berlin to make a statement against the oppression and violation of human rights in Venezuela. It was a concert not just for peace but for DEMOCRACY in Venezuela. It was conductors Carlos Izcarays initiative and I, along with wonderful foreign and Venezuelan artists, gladly joined in. The amazing Giovanni Guzzo led the orchestra, and my dear friend, Virginie Robilliard (fabulous violinist) gave us an incredible improvisation where she also sang. We also heard the great Bolivar Soloists and the most moving Beethovens 7th Symphony Ive heard in a long time. I sobbed during the entire second movement.. This is part of my collaboration that day. The first movement of Rachmaninovs 2nd concerto.. I personally want to thank everyone who took part that day for being artists with a conscience and a voice... ESPAÑOL: EL 16 de Marzo, 70 musicos nos encontramos en Berlin para declararnos en contra de la opresion y las violacion es de derechos humanos en Venezuela. Fue un concierto no solamente por la paz si no por la DEMOCRACIA en Venezuela. Fue una bella iniciativa del director Carlos Izcaray y yo, conjuntamente con otros artistas extranjeros y Venezolanos, nos unimos a el. El increíble violinista, GIovanni Guzzo, desempeño el rol de concertino, y mi gran amiga Virginie Robilliard, nos regalo una improvisacion magica en el violin, donde tambien cantó! Tambien escuchamos al gran ensemble Bolivar Soloists y la interpretacion mas conmovedora de la Septima Sinfonia de Beethoven que he escuchado en mucho tiempo. Llore como una niña durante todo el segundo movimiento.. Esta es parte de mi colaboracion ese dia. El primer movimiento del 2 de Rachmaninov... Personalmente, me gustaria agradecer a todos los artistas que colaboraron..Artistas con conciencia y con voz...
