ENGLISH VERSION: This morning, as usual it was raining heavily. I had planned a long hilly course and as those weather conditions are a kind of test for motivation and determination, I enjoyed the fact that I did not complain and I get ready soon. I put shoes and running clothing, GPS Fenix2, and headphones with music to be turned on in the second half of the run. Departure from Ponteranica at 270 meters above sea level and than over the hills of Maresana and then Canto Alto until 1146 meters to the summit. From that place I descended on the other side till the Hut where I drank a nice coffee offered by the delightful hut manager. I was completely wet and didn’t spent more than few minutes there and I started again my training . I decide to add some variations along the way back crossing Sorisole, Ponteranica, Ranica till home. Among these variants the first had been to climb back till the summit of Canto Alto and than run down at the caves Pacì Paciana, where 30 years ago I bolted some climbing routes using some self made bolts I prepared at home. Lacking money and means of transport, I used to walk up there several time and that place was the garden and the wall of my vertical freedom when I was 16. While it came another downpour I looked at that wall of limestone and those bolts and discovered how the enthusiasm, the desire for action and freedom of that time are still there lives in me. I then turned on the music and I headed home without bothering to avoid the streams of water running down the paths that become really slippery.Totale 3 hours and 13 minutes of running. First thing I found was at home was Jonas’s smile holding his toy, a small helicopter. Hot shower and than 300g of organic spaghetti shared with him. Carbohydrates needed for the games that now we have to do together ;-)
