ENGLISH #WhyNon-tithingChristiansBecomePoor…-15.Quote:“Did you know that there is no need to curse someone who steals from you because there is a general curse on anyone who steals?”–Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. Today’s Study Book – Why Non-tithing Christians Become Poor…, by Dag Heward-Mills. Chapter - 2 Study Subject - Curses That Follow Non-Tithers Memory Verse - “I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.”Zechariah 5:4 (KJV) We continue with the eight curses that follow non-tithers as listed by Dag Heward-Mills. “EIGHT CURSES THAT FOLLOW NON-TITHERS” “2. People who do not pay tithes are cursed with the curse that comes on thieves.” Every law that is violated in a nation has a corresponding penalty to pay. This is the consequence of the unlawful act. It is also the society’s response. There are degrees of penalties, ranging from fines, community service, prison and even death. The severity of the offence determines the penalty that will be served on the person. This principle of retribution is justice. Every created being bears this characteristic of God, the cry for justice to be upheld. Animal or human being, innate within its composition is the cry for justice. But justice does not only serve as retribution, but also to educate, deter and prevent others from committing the same offences. This is what these curses on non-tithers are about. The curses are penalties for failing to comply with God’s established principles. Seeing the curses play out should serve as education and a deterrent for us not to violate God’s commandments. Anyone who steals will incur a penalty. This is what Today’s Memory Verse declares. If we see this as justice, then we must accept the curses for non-tithing to also be fair. God sees not tithing as stealing. Remember, you can get your copy of Why Non-Tithing Christians Become Poor … at: daghewardmills.org/shop/categories/All-English-Books/
