ENGLISH #WhyNon-tithingChristiansBecomePoor…-21.Quote:“If you do not tithe, you fall into the category of ungrateful people.”–Bishop Dag Heward-Mills. Today’s Study Book – Why Non-tithing Christians Become Poor…, by Dag Heward-Mills. Chapter - 2 Study Subject - Curses That Follow Non-Tithers Memory Verse - “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 (KJV) We continue with the eight curses that follow non-tithers as listed by Dag Heward-Mills. “EIGHT CURSES THAT FOLLOW NON-TITHERS” “5. People who do not pay tithes are cursed with the curse that comes on those who repay God’s goodness to them with evil.” – Dag Heward-Mills (contd.3) An ungrateful person is a dangerous person. What makes the person dangerous is the fact that they have lost their sense of true value. An ungrateful person can be compared to someone who has no conscience or has a seared conscience. “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; speaking lies in hypocrisy; HAVING THEIR CONSCIENCE SEARED with a hot iron …” (1Timothy 4:1-2 KJV) To sear means to render callous; cause to lose feeling. It also means to cauterize and to render insensitive. To sear also connotes an injury, in that something is inflicted upon a person or object. It introduces something that was not there before or at the beginning. Simply put, it comes to mark the person or the object. To sear therefore also means to mark or to scar. People who do not tithe are marked. Someone who is ungrateful bears a mark. Their thoughts, attitude, speech and actions have marked them as ungrateful. Just as you can detect an ungrateful person, so are they conspicuous spiritually. Having their conscience seared proves that every human being was created by God with a conscience. God put that in you. It is normal to be grateful. According to God’s master design ingratitude is an abnormality, an anomaly, a defect.
