ENOUGH ALREADY with this endless Flight 370 Show! The coverage is wildly disproportionate to its global importance, compared to the likely Russian invasion of Ukraine; devastating mudslides in WA; ongoing horror in Sudan (and other places including, but by no means limited to, the Middle East); ebola outbreaks in Madagascar and other locales; Fukushima spilling death into the sea, air and earth -- with no possible end in sight; the erosion of the planets ozone layer; the poisoning of our ground water; corruption and incompetence at almost every level of government; dumbing down of the U.S. education system (and our culture in general); irresponsibility of the mass media -- as evidenced by the first sentence of this rant. For me the most dreadful aspect of the Malaysian airline mystery is the endless hours of sheer terror that must have been felt, unabated, by 239 of our fellow humans. And TV is getting all excited about pieces of garbage floating in an inaccessible sea. Possible objects -- indeed. I could puke.
