ENTERING A NEW DIMENSION: Wow, these items would make truly awesome stocking stuffers. Bif Bang Pow! is manufacturing a series of “Twilight Zone” action figures. In August, they are releasing 3-3/4-inch scale figures of some of the great characters and creatures from the classic television anthology series, including Bob Wilson (the character played by William Shatner who sees the gremlin on the wing of the plane in “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet”) and the Kanamit (the alien from “To Serve Man,” who arrives on Earth with less-than-noble motives). The Nancy Pearl Librarian action figure will now have a companion on your knickknack shelf, as all you bookish types will definitely have to own the Henry Bemis plastic figure (the nearsighted bank clerk and ultimate book lover in the post-apocalyptic world, as played by Burgess Meredith in “Time Enough at Last.”) It even comes with two tiny books as accessories, although it would really have been cool to include a pair of broken glasses as an accessory item.
