ENV’s efforts help to uncover tiger cub immersed in wine in Ho Chi Minh City 16 July 2013, Ho Chi Minh City - Following initial monitoring by ENV and their team of wildlife protection volunteers, the Environmental Police and Forest Protection Department investigate the illegal display of a number of protected species in Ho Chi Minh City. On arriving at the Chu Viet Company, located in HCMC’s Tan Binh District, authorities discovered a range of wildlife immersed in wine, including a tiger cub and bear paws. The authorities were unable to confiscate the jars immediately, but sealed and minuted the illegal products so they could not be removed.
