EPH6:2-3....niv “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”.....we all want to live long and see good days.wellGod is saying to us today its hundred percent possible if we honor our first covenant on earth which is our parents.living in confort while our parents live in discomfort is not honoring our parents, spending thousands and millions on strange women /men when we cannot even spend a hundred on our parents is not honoring them,going to school to engage in ocultic activities, runs/prostitution(just to live above our standard) ,drinking and smoking away our health,clubing,travelling from one place to another instead of concentrating on our Education is not honoring our parents.The truth is when we dishonor our first covenant (parents) we begin to experience the reverse of the promises that goes with honoring our parents. Likewise the parent should bring up their children in the way of the Lord as it is clearly stated in the scripture because you will reap exactly what you sow in a child.if you bring up your child with hatred you will reap hatrad,with love love, with worldliness worldliness, with corruption corruption, with respect respect,with tribalism tribalism, with violence violence.God wants the best for the parents who were once children and children who will be parents some day.God is not speaking to you today to judge or make you feel bad but to expose the truth which will bring about the full measure of his promises in our life.JESUS IS THE ANSWER
