EPISODE: 17 TO LOVE IS A CRIME [Part 2]* Where is everyone in the house? Felix asked the maid as he headed to his room. He had a hectic day at the office today. All he wanted was a cool shower,food and sleep. The maid informed him that Dr Ajikole and William went out but she didnt know where they had gone to. Felix was not bordered he went to his room and began to UnCloth. He was in the shower when he heard a knock on his door,he didnt answer until he was done,he tied a white towel across his lean waist as he got the door. It was Temitope,so he let her in.I heard you come in some minutes ago. she said sitting on his bed. I just came back from the store about an hour ago,i received willys text that he would be home late. she said happily. Felix folded his hands across his chest,he just wasnt in the mood for what she was offering,Temitope im tired.he said walking towards her. What do you mean? she asked.Am i boring to you now? No. Felix said,as he held her hands.I want us to put an end to this or perhaps we should just be more careful. Temitope got up from the bed and removed Felixs hand from hers,she made for the door without one word. Temitope.he said stopping her.Its not what you think,okay. Temitope wound her hand around his neck,Felix kissed her and she kissed him back. The two moved towards the bed as Felix helped her UnCloth. Temitope moaned softly as she had fun with Felix,the two were lost in the ecstasy of their lovemaking when the door flung open in surprise. The clock had stopped ticking,and their heartbeat could be heard miles away. The two looked up in fright to see Rachael walk in. Rachael was shocked to her bone marrow. Williams had asked the driver to bring her home,while he and Dr Ajikole drove Rebecca to the hospital. She had come to break the bad news to Felix but her eyes were about to pop out of their socket with the sight that greeted her. She closed the door like nothing happened and walked downstairs,she collected the key from the driver and got into one of the cars,the gateman opened the gate and she took to the wheels driving to God knows where Kogi glanced at the rear mirror again the toyota camry seemed to be gaining more space towards him. His palm felt sticky against the steering as he propelled the car forward. He could catch a glimpse of the airport already,he was trying not to be nervous as it was. He wondered how many men were in the car and why he was being pursued. He wished he hadnt let loose his tongue,so many thoughts ran through his mind,as he increased speed and overtook so many cars. his heartbeats sounded like timed bombs. Just a few miles away,he had observed that the car following him knew his destination without alerting other road users,he swung the car off the road onto the other lane,but he had miscalculated he hadnt seen the trailer speeding from the other side. In one swift moment,his car had become a piece of junk as passerbys stopped to watch the scene. Traffic had become congested now as the crowd pulled up over unfortunate Kogi. Felix stole a glance at Liam who was sited across him from the waiting area of the hospital,he looked rather cool in his ash cotton polo as he placed his arm on Temitope who cuddled little Liam in her arms. He wondered what was happening to his two sisters in their ward. He had been shocked when Liam called to inform him about Rebecca and not long afterwards of Rachaels accident. Slowly raising his head he watched other people in the waiting room,some looked tensed,others worried,some chatted while others masked their face under feigned smile devoid of expression. He kept asking himself,what pushed him to fall for Temitope advances,he already had a girlfriend,even though Tina was a source of constant headache to him. He was to blame,would Rachael spill out their dirty secret?he wondered quietly. The sound of approaching footstep caused him to look towards the doorway,a pretty fair skinned nurse trotted in,though petite she had a nice frame. she asked for the Ajikoles who stood up promptly and followed her to the doctors office. Outside the door was a panel inscribbed-Dr A James. Liam walked in followed by Temitope, he was the last to go in. Dr Ajikole sat on the patients seat and signified to Dr James to go ahead. Rachael is under treatment as we speak,luckily for her the accident was a minor one,she sustained bruises and a little cut on her forehead. But she still in a state of shock.Dr James said without much preamble,he looked too professional as he spoke,he was just in his mid forties though single you can blame that on his work anyway.
