ERAGON (MANHATTAN ACC): Eight years young with so much love to give, this fellow is a Family Dog with an extremely high adorability factor. Ready for that second dog, or easing into a new dog after a long and dogless break? Or just looking for your first ever? How could you go past Eragon? Hes ready to help, and hell show you the ropes. No problem. Read the volunteer description (also cute as a button): A compact cutie with perfectly cropped ears and the most adorable frown in town, sweet Eragon owns the sort of face you cant help but awwww over and his personality is just as unique and appealing as his looks. Hes a family dog who gets along with children, lived happily with teens and knows commands for sit, lie down and give paw and as I discovered for myself, his manners are truly those of a gentleman. Eragon walks nicely on leash and pees a river the second we step out the door, sits politely for treats and takes them very softly, meets other dogs with good-natured friendship and gives out snuffly kisses to his human friends too. Hes even lived in harmony with cats!!! No wonder then that he aced his behavior evaluation, earning the best possible score on every single test from handling to food sharing to doggie interaction. Eragon may have a few gray hairs but this sprightly senior is still quite the athlete and he loves to play fetch, holding the ball firmly but dropping it when I produce another and if I throw two together he manages to cram them both into his mouth at once - such a clown! After fetch and snuggling, his favorite pastime is holding and skinning tennis balls (no guarding issues though) and he does it with such earnest focus that I start to think of this as his job - if you need a ball chewed then here is your go-to guy! Eragon is simply the best, 8 years young with so much love still to give and life left to live, a superstar wholl light up your world if only you give him the chance... All of the information you need to adopt this guy from the Manhattan shelter is contained in his main thread, here. Dont let him leave the world unloved and uncuddled. Hes put his trust in us. https://facebook/Urgentdeathrowdogs/photos/a.617942388218644.1073741870.152876678058553/937566889589524/?type=1
