ESP (electronic stability program)is combination of ABS (Anti Locking Braking System)and TCS (Traction Control System) ESP – Electronic Stability Program – it is an electronic program which does not allow the vehicle to slip, to oversteer or understeer by braking every wheel individually. For example, when ESP detects the loss of steering control, it applies brakes automatically : outer front wheel to counter oversteer or the inner rear wheel to counter understeer. The main advantage of ESP is that no matter on what surface you are driving your car, it won`t let you spin you car which is essential when the road is icy, on icy surfaces it is impossible for all drivers to avoid accidents or to control perfectly the vehicle. below i attached movie of Bosch system
