ESPECIALLY THINKING ABOUT MY FRIEND CAMILLE.. Dear Heavenly Father, Some days, we come to u n we just have heavy hearts. We see loved ones suffering n know we r helpless to do anything to ease their pain or help their situations. Sometimes, we see all that is wrong around us...people that r cruel, hurtful or dishonest...n we r reminded we live in a sinful world, where as we strive 2b like u, we fall miserably short. On the hard days Lord, we think of 1 of the shortest sentences in the Bible, which simply said,Jesus wept. Lord, u know what its like to weep. Surely, ur heart must grieve every day over the sin, hurt n pain that exists here. On days like these Lord, we know this is not r home, that we r just passing thru n what a comfort to know that better things await us in the future. Lord, 4 every1 that is having a hard time, I pray u would envelop them w/ur Holy Spirit n ur loving embrace. May they feel a heavenly cocoon of warmth n love surround them n picture u cradling, hugging, n reassuring them, that everything will b okay. Lord, sometimes we just have to let the dam burst n let the tears fall n flush the hurts from r system. Sometimes we just have to say, Lord, I am weary, I cant, but u can. Perhaps u allow these times, Lord, just so we can fall into ur arms n know u r the 1 that catches us when we fall, that holds us up when we r weak, that carries us when we r just too bruised n battle weary to even move. Lord, help us make time to rest at ur feet. In the stillness n in solitude, may we b ministered to by u w/no thought of distractions or demands on r time. Help us envision a safe place where we can go 2b surrounded by ur warmth, joy, peace n love. Lord please love n restore all those who need encouragement n strength. Please give them relief from the battles of life. We ask u to come Jesus n comfort the broken-hearted n bind up their wounds. Gather those unto yourself that r worn down from constant pain n illness. We know u long to spend alone time w/us Lord. U long to speak to us of things we dont know n give us encouragement 4 what lies ahead. Please do what we cant do n give rest to the weary today we pray. In the name above all names, we say ty n praise u 4 ur greatness. Amen
