ESPN Player: Service Update. Following some technical problems at times this weekend, ESPN Player is fully operational across all devices. The timing of the technical issues coincided with the opening weekend of the new NCAA Football season, and we apologise to our customers who experienced a loss in service. For clarity, there were two separate technical issues during the weekend. The first caused a complete loss of service for a number of hours on Friday evening. The second technical issue occurred Saturday night and into Sunday and specifically affected the ESPN Player app for iPad and connected TVs devices. ESPNPlayer access on PC’s was unaffected by this problem. These technical issues are now resolved and the fixtures, including all on-demand fixtures from this weekend, can be viewed across all ESPN Player platforms. Once again, we apologise for these issues and we are working hard to ensure that there are no more technical issues this season.
