ESPN is already trying to muddy the waters for the NCAA playoff - TopicsExpress

ESPN is already trying to muddy the waters for the NCAA playoff selection committee. In their fantasy world, theyre pulling for Oregon and Notre Dame to fill the #3 & #4 spot in this format. Their reasoning behind Oregon is: they lost at home with an injured o-line. Reasoning for Notre Dame is that they almost beat fla state. WOW!!!!! No SEC hate there?!?! First of all, name one SEC team who isnt banged up! Add to that the intensity, violence, and unrivaled high level of play EVERY week in the SEC and the argument for Oregon is invalid..... Secondly, if were gonna figure in the almost won category, there are 30 other teams who would fall into that category. To almost beat a fla state team who, quite honestly, arent as complete a team as they were last season, isnt impressive. If you want to impress people who know football Notre dame, you have to not only beat fla state, you have to blow them out! Invalid.....Invalid.....Invalid!!!!!!!!!! Stop trying to influence college football espn and be ok with 3 of the top 4 teams in the country coming from the same conference.....understand that a 2 loss SEC team is typically much stronger than an undefeated team from the acc, pac 10, and the big 12! Yes.....fla state beat auburn for the champ. last season. Yes.....it is odd that the SEC didnt win it all, but It happens. I know its tough for those outside of the SEC to admit the obvious.....SEC is the top conference in the country. Well prove it again this year!
