ESPNs censorship of Bill Simmons, which is exactly what their suspension of him is, shows they are nothing more than a propaganda/PR firm for the NFL. Ironically, I read an article published yesterday by ESPN Ombudsmen lauding his employer for the journalistic muscle they flexed covering Goodell...even citing Simmons work on the topic thus far. It was praising ESPN for getting it right with the Goodell story after cowardly backing out of the concussion story with PBS. Less than 24 hours later, Simmons was suspended. So much for that journalistic flexing huh ESPN ?
