ESSENTIAL TUESDAY NEWS FACTS: * NO SCHOOL for RC Schools, WDT today * The City Council met last night, the Pennington County Commissioners meet at 1:30 today to consider an emergency declaration * Fire officials had more than 300 official calls for service, plus more than 300 other acts of service outside of call responses; Police and Sheriffs officials had more than 1,100 calls for service * Water/Sewer officials reported no interruption in service * Monday/Tuesday trash routes are being run today - - LANDFILL is open to 4-wheel drive vehicles only * YARD WASTE SITES IN RC ARE OPEN - - Southside on Fairmont, Westside at Fitzgerald Stadium parking lot, Northside at parking lot across from the Club For Boys * FOUR WASTE SITES IN STURGIS ARE OPEN - - see the city website for locations and information * Portions of RC without power on the southwest side of town were finally restored around 5:30 last evening after four days of outage.
