Its ways are ways of pleasantness, and all its paths are peace. Help us and guide us, inspire us and provide us With the wisdom Your Torah can show. Cause us to learn, renew and return, Just as in days of old. TREE OF LIFE עץ חיים Mem - Yod - Yod - Chet - tsadhe - Avin Avin;- All have to do with cleansing or purification. To see to obey. Tsadhe;- Righteousness Chet;- Is a protective fence such as the one shepherds used to put around their sheep at night Yod;- This word means Hand and as being used twice means Hands plural, it also means humility and strength. Mem;- This word has a meaning of water or a spring, and when we put it in the word Tree of life must mean living water. And our living water is YAHUSHUA. The true meaning of “The Tree of Life”;- So do we see the words “Tree of Life” as meaning;- “To obey Yahushua is righteousness and protection, to be held in the strength of His hands” or “Yahushua is our Salvation, our strength and our Righteousness, as He holds us in His hands” The Tree of LIFE ETZ CHAYIM עץ חיים “The ends of the Torah scroll are tied to wooden staves. The staves ornamental handles and flat circular rollers serve as a means of rolling the scroll. These are called atzei Chayim (Trees of Life plural) based on the verse: She is a tree of life (ETZ CHAYIM) to those who grasp her, and whoever holds on to her is happy (Proverbs 3:18)”. (This is taken from the Israel Museum Jerusalem site imj.org.il/Stieglitz/texts/torahE.asp) The reason I have bought this out is because it is significant with Moses, and in my awakening to Father’s law, the Torah, because when Moses asked God to reveal Himself to him this is what in the Hebrew text Moses described seeing, let me explain, and I will go to the verse in Exodus 33 and try to bring out this for you to see. This is a wonderful picture of salvation and a revelation of Yahushua. In fact I believe here YHVH revealed Yahushua to Moses, a prophetic picture of salvation. Exo 33:17 And YAHWEH said to Moses, This thing which you have spoken I will do. For you have found favor in My eyes, and I know you by name. Exo 33:18 And he said, I pray, let me see Your glory. Exo 33:19 And He said, I will cause all My goodness to pass before your face. And I will call out the name of YAHWEH before your face. And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. Exo 33:20 And He said, You are not able to see My face; for no man can see Me and live. Exo 33:21 And YAHWEH said, Behold, a place by Me! And you shall stand on a rock. Exo 33:22 And as My glory is passing it will be that I will put you in a cleft of the rock; and I will cover My hand over you during My passing. Exo 33:23 And I will remove My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face cannot be seen. When Moses asked YHVH to reveal His glory, YHVH did some amazing things and I can say this He has done for us too. “I will put you in a cleft of the rock; and I will cover My hand over you during My passing.” Moses was put in a safe place on a rock, tucked into a safe place secured, surrounded by rock (Rock of salvation). And then Father Himself, put His hand over Moses just how a father would with a new born baby. “And I will remove My hand, and you shall see My back” Then YHVH removed His hand to reveal Himself, not his face but the other side of Himself. His back in the Hebrew, the word here used is “atzei hayyim (Trees of Life)”, and who is our Tree of Life, none other than Yahushua , and that was not all, for the “Atzei hayyim” is the pole that the Torah scroll is wound on to, so here we have Yahushua as the center of the Law, all of YHVH’s word is wound up in Yahushua. He is the word as the Bible says, He “is” from the very beginning of Genesis, Yahushua is the reason, the purpose and the Goal of Father’s word, all the way to the end of Revelations. Here Moses was given a vision of the future of the time we live in, when we now can call on the name of our Savior, and be put into a safe place standing firmly on THE ROCK of our salvation, and see Yahushua not His back anymore but His face, because now the Glory of our God is among us and in us, our TREE OF LIFE. We are the Temple of the Holy Spirit and as His Temple we now have the Tree Of Life with in us (Yahushua), Father has taken us back to the beginning, back to where He will walk with us in the cool of the evening, and we can eat from the tree of life as Adam did in the garden, the original sanctuary.
