EUR/USD and GBP/USD climbed a little during the session but didn’t get close to overnight highs. AUD and NZD, too, showed strength, with both surpassing overnight highs. there was no specific news or data out today, just a quietly bid tone from both. Once again yen was where the action was; with an early stop-loss driven move lower in both EUR/JPY and USD/JPY soon being met with buyers. USDJPY traded back up to resistance on the day at 99.65/70 and then settling quietly as I write this report. EUR/JPY traded back up to resting sell orders around 131.40/50.
