EVANGELICAL ALLIANCE OF KENYA CALLS FOR PRAYERS : 10/12/2014 By The Beacon-Hope FM The Evangelical Alliance of Kenya has condemned the killings that happened in Mandera and have called upon the government to intensify security in the region to avoid occurrence of similar events in the future. Addressing the press today, EAK Chairman Bishop Mark Kariuki on Thursday challenged the government and the opposition to work together and avoid politicizing the insecurity matters. The Alliance is further calling on all Kenyans to observe a day of prayer and fasting on the 10th of December at the Kasarani Gymnasium to pray against the spirit of terrorism. Commenting on the Magu killings, EAK cautioned Kenyans to refrain from participating in cultic worship.
