EVANS RESIGNS AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF THE OHIO VALLEY Evansville, Ind., (Tuesday, December 16, 2014) –Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley announces the resignation of its Executive Director, Jeremy Evans. His last day is January 2. Evans will take his over ten years knowledge and experience leading non-profits to another local charity, The Dream Center of Evansville. “My family is so blessed to be moving into this next phase of our lives – a full-fledged ministry where we can show the love and light of Christ in one of Evansville’s most impoverished areas.” Evans came to the Ronald McDonald House in February 2013. During his time as Executive Director, he helped the organization move forward in its capacity for planning, strategic vision and fundraising. He provided a passionate voice for the charity’s mission and was able to use his personal attachment with the charity to grow relationships. “While we’re sad to lose Jeremy’s advocacy for our charity, we’re left with high excitement for the momentum he’s helped us to create,” Jeff Rhymer, Board President said Tuesday. Evans said, “The House will always be a personal passion for me because of my family’s story. The charity is blessed with significant community support and a passionate family of board members and volunteers. My time with the House will always be a joyful memory for me and for my family.” Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley will begin a search process soon for their new organizational leader.
