All Nexus members are welcome to join us for a FREE firearm law seminar given by our friends, the police officers and lawyers at US Law Shield on Sunday 10/12/14 at 9 am, 1pm, or 4:30 pm for a free workshop with the lawyers and police officers of US Law Shield as they discuss essential legal issues associated with gun ownership including topics such as: - Recent updates to firearm law including the warning shot bill. - Appropriate use of deadly force - Stand Your Ground - Castle Doctrine - The appropriate steps to take AFTER discharging a firearm to protect yourself legally. - What to do when the police arrive. - How to deal with a difficult police officer.
