EVENING MEAL! STRANGE FAVOUR II Now is the time to begin to take yourself seriously. Never again think of yourself as a common man or woman because there is a strange favour upon your life. This strange favour will cause you to be the unanimous choice wherever you go. The tables are being turned and your story is changing. Your status has changed! Luke 1:28 And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!” Two things happened to Mary when the angel said “blessed are you among women”. Mary received favour and she also had what is called a “conferred happiness”. This sort of happiness is not gotten by work but is delivered into one’s hand by God. Over every life and every situation, I declare that the blessing of the Lord becomes apparent in Jesus’ name. Strange favour is not the sort of favour which is gained by qualification or skill but by the doctrine of election. God has chosen to favour you! 1 Chron 5:18 …men able to bear shield and sword, to shoot with the bow, and SKILFUL IN WAR The men being referred to in the above verse had ability; they had all the right qualifications and connections. With all their skills and everything else, they were helped! As they fought, it dawned on them that they were limited and they could not do it on their own and they cried out to God. Today, they are the men and women from the right backgrounds who attended the right schools and they have all the right connections. They are people who need to realize that in order to have good success, they would need a strange kind of favour upon their lives, one that is only given by God. CONFESSION: My story has changed!
