EVENING PROGRAMME ANNOUNCEMENT: ND ADMISSIONS 2014/2015 SESSION Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Two-Year ND Programme. 1.1.SCHOOL OF APPLIED SCIENCES 1.A.Science Laboratory Technology 1.B.Computer Science 1.C.Statistics Five credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent in Mathematics and any two of (a) Physics, (b) Chemistry and (c) Biology/Agricultural Science, the third subject of a,b, c above must be a pass. The two others from any of Economics, Geography, Building/Engineering Drawing, Leather, Tanning, etc; and pass in English language in not more than two sittings. Five credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, and three other subjects from Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science, Economics, Geography, Government and a pass in English Language. 1.2.SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT 1.A.Business Studies 2.B.Accountancy 3.C.Marketing 4.D.Public Admin 5.E.Banking/Finance 6.F.Office Technology and Management (formerly Secretarial Studies) Five credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent in Mathematics, and English Language, plus two credit passes in any of Economics, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Literature in English, Commerce, Government and one Science subject in not more than two sittings. Office Technology and Management requires a pass in Mathematics. 1.3.SCHOOL OF COMMUNICATION ARTS 1.A.Mass Communication Five GCE ‘O’ Level or SSCE or NECO, NABTEB subjects passed at not more than two sittings. The subjects must be passed at credit level and should include English Language, A pass in Mathematics is also required. 1.4.SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING 1.A.Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology 1.B.Civil Engineering Technology Five credit passes in SSCE or its equivalent which must include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and at least a pass in English Language obtained in not more than two sittings. OR The National Technical Certificate (NTC) in electrical trade with credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and one other subject. Also a pass in English language is Mandatory. Civil Engineering Technology requires five credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and one other Science subject from Chemistry, Biology/Agric Science and two credit passes from Geography , Economics, Commerce and a pass in English Language. 1.5.SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES 1.A.Architecture Technology 2.B.Building Technology 3.C.Estate Management 4.D.Quantity Surveying 5.E.Surveying and Geo-informatics 6.F.Urban and Regional Planning Five O/Level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any two subjects from Chemistry , Biology/Agric Science, Geography, Economics/Commerce, Technical Drawing, Fine Art. METHOD OF APPLICATION 1.A.All applications should be made by visiting the First Bank PLC and making payment of N8,700.00 (EIGHT THOUSAND; SEVEN HUNDRED NAIRA for ND Evening Programme and obtaining a PIN. (INCLUSIVE OF BANK AND OTHER CHARGES) 2.B.Application should therefore be completed by visiting akwaibompoly-edu.netwith the obtained pin to complete the application form, not later than Tuesday, 25thNOVEMBER, 2014. 3.C.All shortlisted students will be published online. 4.D.Screening will be conducted in the School Campus on 25/11/2014 at 10AM Prompt. 5.E.Bring along with you, original copies of credentials plus JAMB Scores.
