EVENT DETAILS NAME THE PUP CONTEST About the Pup You’ll Be Naming and Pre-Adopting Little Miss H is out of Gale WW Wanika and WW’s Blue Bonnet and was whelped on 11/7/2013. She is currently at the farm playing in the long runs and will be going to finishing school in October or November. THE SIRE Gale WW Wanika comes from famous sire Lonesome Cry and dam WW Gale Finance. He raced at Wheeling Island and has 92 registered offspring. He was the winner of the 2009 Wheeling George Kellas Memorial Cup. In 2010 he won the Wheeling Armed Forces Stake and was a Wheeling Invitational Finalist that same year. Gale WW Wanika also held the Wheeling Island track record for the 548 yard at 29.06 until it was broken in later years. THE DAM WW’s Blue Bonnet comes from sire Tuffalo and dam WW Apple Butter. She raced at Wheeling Downs and Derby Lane. She retired in March 2009 and is a proud momma to 16 registered offspring from 3 different litters (this current litter not included). Many of her offspring have had very successful racing careers. Please Note: Naming must be approved by the National Greyhound Association Naming Conventions. Additionally, the NGA ownership of “Little Miss H pup” is NOT included in the contest.
