EVENT MINI UPDATE: As you probably noticed, we are facing stronger than usual troops in spite of avoiding using extra energy. I want to remind people to stick with the strategy in spite of this. What is happening is that we are seeing a large number of troops holding out on using their extra energy this Troop Wars event after MIR/PP shamelessly kept increasing the trophy payout for enraged bosses as events progressed in the previous two events. Even though there are no enraged bosses in Troop Wars and MIR/PPs post on the upcoming Player Council meeting implied there would be no similar bonus for this event, troops dont trust MIR/PP and are understandably waiting to see if theres some sort of final day bonus (e.g. triple flag trophies). These troops are using the right strategy for the wrong reasons (hoping they dont notice any beneficial effect) and the increased competition weakens the benefit to us. However, just because the strategy is weakened by the number of additional troops holding out on spending / using extra energy, it is still the optimal approach to Troop Wars because of the underlying matchmaking mechanics. We will still wind up netting more trophies by waiting until the end part of the event before cutting loose. ----- And now for something completely different. I added Zodiacs to my spreadsheet on our roster and figured Id show the sort of summary information the sheet puts out. Of interest is where our PR is now since once the *median* hits over 300K I plan to try the fourth LT crystal. We are getting closer to that benchmark by the month :D
