EVERY 40 MINUTES SOMEONE IS DIAGNOSED WITH LYMPHOMA CANCER It’s an overwhelming, frightening and LIFE THREATENING diagnosis and no one really knows how that person and their loved one feels The Lymphoma Association offers lots of help, support and advice and by sponsoring me to raise money for this charity – here is how your donation will help:- £3 could help us to put someone in touch with a buddy, providing support and reassurance from someone who has truly been there £10 could pay for a lymphoma awareness pack to help someone raise the profile of lymphoma and its signs and symptoms within their local community. ... £22 could fund a call to our helpline, enabling someone cope with the worry and anxiety they face when dealing with a lymphoma diagnosis; uncertainty about what the future holds, how they will feel when they have the treatment and whether the treatment will work. £50 could help fund our range of free, detailed, high-quality booklets and information leaflets that explain lymphatic cancer, its effects and possible treatments. They are available from us directly or through hospitals and cancer-care units across the UK and we know that many nurses across the country hand out our materials to people affected by lymphoma – because they are simply the best available. £260 could help us oversee one of our local support groups for a year. They help people affected by lymphoma to feel less isolated and more supported.
