EVERY WOMAN PRAYING MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL Weekly Prayer Program – Tagged “Commune with God – Your keeper” (04-08-14) week 14. “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Ps. 23:1). God is our keeper. That is to tell us that we are not alone. If we can depend on God, He will always guide and keep us from any evil. His power is the ultimate for our victory, deliverance, protection, provision and healing. Any child of God must look up to this God as his or her shepherd, just like King David. We must count it a blessing to be in His fold. As His sheep, we shall lack nothing but have abundantly as we come to Him in: (1)Faith (2) Humility (3) Truth (4) Righteousness (5) Fear. God did not forsake David throughout his wilderness experiences. David had confidence in God as a shepherd. He trusted and believed that God would sustain and protect him from every circumstance. When God sees our hearts and knows that our faith in Him is unshakable, He will go beyond our expectation to solve all our problems and put Satan to shame on our behalf. What category of wilderness are you in now? Is it (1)Hardship (2) Sickness (3) unemployment? He has the power to silence any trouble or need because, He lacks nothing. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) He is not limited in power nor strength for your troubles. David never lost a battle because our God the Shepherd was always with him in battle. It was so because David would not engage in any battle without God’s approval. In your own case, do you normally inquire from God or seek His face before you embark on any plan or project? When you don’t realize the desired results whom do you blame? Where do you put this Shepherd in your life? Do you prioritize Him? David was a shepherd right from his youth. He honored the Shepherd of his soul. David’s humility, faith, fear, confidence and his gratefulness made him enjoy God’s; (1) Help (2) Protection (3) Security (4) Peace (5) Victory (6) Promotion. David rose from the level of a shepherd boy to the throne of a king in Israel. He delivered David and protected him till his reigning day. What can God not do? He demotes and promotes! What level are you now in your journey of life? Don’t ever underestimate yourself and don’t give up, but move forward in faith. Your Shepherd does not sleep nor slumber. He never gets tired in strength or in supplying your provisions. His love can never expire over us. We only need to live in faith and not in worry, because we are not alone. The shepherd of our souls, God of peace, our Fortress, Deliverer, Buckler and the Everlasting God; will keep all of us throughout our wilderness life experiences as He did for David in Jesus name. This year 2014, we will not be in want of any good things in Jesus name. He will watch over us when we go out and come in. We will not beg for bread. We will not know hunger in the name of Jesus. God bless you. The five countries we are to pray for this week are :(1) Ecuador. (2) Egypt. (3) El-Salvador. (4) Equatorial Guinea. (5)Eritrea. PRAYER SESSION 1.
