EXACTLY!!!!! If I had not spent 5 years of my life in college, my net worth would be much greater than it is right now. Why? Because I spent 5 years in college while working 4 jobs to pay for it. Fortunately, I paid off my student loans when I graduated from college. I now have the same job that I would have had without any college exposure. Only now I am 5 years behind in income that I would have accrued if I had taken the job upon graduation in high school instead of wasting 5 years on a college degree and spending all of my available time and money slaving on petty jobs that paid nothing. If anything, it provided a much better work ethic for me.
