EXCELLENT rehearsals the last 2 evenings! On Saturday, May 3rd, Friday May 9th and Saturday May 10th, the PLAINVILLE CHORAL SOCIETY will be performing Godspell at the Plainville High School. This will conclude our 2013-2014 season. Personally, it will end my 16th year with this group and Im looking forward to countless more! Whats the reason? To coin a phrase, the reasons should be called legion, for they are many! But I think that the biggest reason, for me anyway, is the sense of fun and camaraderie that one experiences with this diverse group of people! Im proud to call all of them friends! Shame on me for not saying that enough. There is so much talent and good humor in this group that THIS is why PCS will never give a bad performance! Dont miss Godspell, not because its a message or plea for converts show, because it is not-not because we are professionals, because we are not-but where else can you go for a fun night out, relatively inexpensive, with the whole family, and watch your friends, colleagues, neighbors, and total strangers do their best to make you laugh and cry and wonder, all at the same time, and have you come away with the feeling that they were all having a blast while doing it!
