EXCEPT ISLAM !!! Every religion or ideology ever made in the human history has had the Golden rule as one the most important of its teaching , EXCEPT ISLAM . Not only that but also Islam is very clearly ordering muslims not to follow the golden rule . Golden rule says : Do not wish things or do to others that you do not like to be done to you. But the merciful !! Islam says : 48:29, Muhammad is the messenger of Allah; and those who are with him are strong and harsh against Unbelievers, (but) compassionate amongst each other. The above verse must be followed by muslims to the letter or it will be blasphemy. Now , what shall muslims do with non-muslims ? Lets continue reading quran : 9:123, O ye who believe! fight the unbelievers who gird you about, and let them find firmness in you: and know that Allah is with those who fear Him. 9:29, Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued. 9:5, But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, and seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem. There are many more verses of this kind ( 109 to be exact) Àny of these verses can corner any muslim who claims that Islam is the religion of peace or there is no compulsion in religion. Note : None of these verses are defensive . The context of theses verses : These verses were concocted by muhammad when he ROKE the treaty of Hydaybay ( only two years into the treaty which was supposed to last for 10 years ) and was ATTACKING mecca. So don`t let apologist deceive you by calling these verses defensive. There is absolutely nothing about any of these verses (or other verses in quran promoting violence) There is verse which sounds like the golden ruel , but do let them decieve you. That verse is clearly talking only about muslims : It says: a BELIEVER does not harm ( or wish harm ) to another BELIEVER that he does not want for himself. This way different than the Golden ruLe
