EXCERPTS ON SUNDAY CELEBRATIONS SERVICE WITH PASTOR OLUMESE E. OLUMESE..17/11/2013. TOPIC:- CONFESSION: THE SECRETS OF GREAT EXPANSION. The Word of God makes us outlast our circumstances. When our lives are built on the Word of God, there may be storms and rain, but we will outlast the storms. Miracles are meant for survival, laws are for continuity and existence. We should not be too desperate for miracles, but for the laws and Words of God. We need more of Gods ways than His acts. Moses knew Gods ways, no wonder he saw Gods acts cheaply. Only fools say, What will be will be, responsible people say, What will be must be created. Nothing gets better with time and chance. The law of Cause and Effect states that for every effect seen, there must have been a cause. When you control what you control, the uncontrollable pushes you to your destination. Stop killing yourself about what you cant control. One of the things God has given us power to control is our confession of words. Mark 4:3-8,14. Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow: And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up. And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth: But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit. And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. The sower soweth the word. Our words are powerful and they are instruments of change. (Hebrews 13:5,6.) Romans 10:8,9 has this to teach us, But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. And how does this confession start? See it in Romans 10:17. So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. The journey towards being saved starts from the confession with the mouth. Confession comes even before believing. ADVANTAGES AND IMPORTANCES OF CONFESSION:- It helps you to produce results that may seem humanly impossible. * The words of your confession justify you for expansion or condemns you to mediocrity. Matthew 12:37. Your confession should not wait for what you see, but it should create what you want to see. What you cannot get by confession, you cannot get it in your hands. Life is not necessarily about hard work, but about smart work. * The words of your confession brings you out of your despair into breakthroughs. Isaiah 47:5. Use your mouth. * The words of your confession give Jesus something to work with. Hebrews 3:1. Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; Profession is compounded confession. Our Heavenly Father wants us to talk and He loves us for doing so. * Confession increases the potency of the Word of God in our lives. Hebrews 10:8. Your mouth is the edge of a sword. Hebrews 4:12 states, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. BEGIN TO YOUR CONFESS YOUR WAY AND LIFE INTO VICTORY IN JESUS NAME!
