EXCITING NEWS - STARZ DIRECTOR DOUG BUSH will be taking a TEAM made up of 2 Nationally-Ranked STARZ Players (from Alabama) along with 2 other Nationally-Ranked Players (from Tennessee & Kentucky) to compete this Weekend on May 29-June 31 in the 2014 USA 3x3 U18 NATIONAL TOURNAMENT at the US OLYMPIC TRAINING FACILITY in Colorado Springs, CO!! This competition will determine the USA BASKETBALL 3x3 U18 NATIONALTEAM that will represent the USA in the upcoming YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES to be held in NANJING, CHINA in AUGUST (see nanjing2014.org). COACH BUSH was invited to put together a 3x3 (3 on 3) team made up of 4 players born during the years 1996 and/or 1997 to compete as 1 of 8 teams in the U18 NATIONAL TOURNAMENT this weekend. Entries will include the USA BASKETBALL 3x3 Entry of Players who made the USA U17 & U18 Teams last weekend at the USA BASKETBALL TRIALS!! Our SOUTHERN STARZ 4-PLAYER ROSTER will include STARZ 2014 McDONALDs ALL-AMERICAN 6-0 Wing SHAKAYLA THOMAS (Florida St Signee) who is ranked #12 in the Class of 2014, STARZ 2015 5-11 Combo Guard SHAQUERA WADE (Alabama Commit) who is ranked #34 in the Class of 2015, KENTUCKY PREMIER 6-0 Guard MACI MORRIS (Kentucky Commit) who is ranked in the Top 50 in the Class of 2015, & TENNESSEE A-GAME 5-11 Wing CHASSITY LEA LEA CARTER (Undecided) who is ranked #10 in the Class of 2016 & who was a member of the USA U16 GOLD MEDAL TEAM in 2013!!
