EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!!! I have officially decided to join in with the guys at WOW! Factory, Steve Varonka and Gary F. Clark, to share studio space. Im excited about this, they are excited about this...we blend in well together and I think it will work out great all around. Q&A..... Does this mean you are no longer Photons 2 Pixels? No. I am still Photons 2 Pixels. The studio name is WOW! Factory. We each have our own identities within there. So you are completely independent of them? Again, no. Over the past few years, Ive developed a good working relationship and friendship with both Steve and Gary. This will continue. We will be sharing not only studio space, but Im sure we will arrange shoots together often. What if I want to shoot something with just you? Thats still allowed. We all respect each other and the clients. Your comfort is the primary goal. So what has changed from before? Before, I was doing my studio work inside a room in my house. It worked for a lot of things I was shooting, but it was also very limiting due to size and dimensions. I most definitely couldnt fit more than a couple people in there and still be comfortable. Now, the space is more open, there is more room for people waiting, but the best thing is, this allows me to expand my possibilities WAY beyond what I was capable of doing in my house. Those of you who know my imagination/creativity will understand that this opens up a whole fleet of truckloads of ideas that I can now shoot that I couldnt before. Are there any downsides to this? Nothing that is a huge negative. Its farther away for me and will be for some of you as well. My prices will also change in order for me to make this worth it. However, Im sure youll see that it will be worth it because the possibilities are expanded and it will make things better all around. Is there anything else to add to this? Yes. First of all, we will be hosting an Opening Day group shoot, probably on October 4th (Saturday) as kind of a welcome aboard for me. Second, Ive already discussed a few things with Steve and Gary and Im planning to offer photography courses along with Photoshop lessons. This is something Ive been wanting to do for a long time but never had the place to do it. Third, and this one is a maybe, there is room for me to try something else Ive been wanting to do...put together photo gallery showings of the works from local talent. This may not go as well as I hope, but its something I feel the urge to try. If you have any more questions for me, feel free to ask in comments or private message. :D
